SINGAPORE FORMULA 1 GRAND PRIX
At the end of September we visited the gigantic Formula 1 Night Race in Singapore. What a race! 1485 headlights provided light for in the night on the racetrack and caused a not quite cheap electricity bill, the Ferrari-Team overlooked a tank hose; Nelson Piquet put his Renault in front of a limiting wall.
We provided the soundtrack for the McLaren-Mercedes camp!
The Formula-1 world champion Mika Haekkinnen was also there. He celebrated its 40th birthday and we sang for him. He was visibly moved and revealed itself as a Fools Garden fan.
